The Island King® Torch features a unique design that results in a flame that’s five times larger than traditional torches. The uniquely designed torch bowl keeps the flame burning big and bright, even in the wind. It has a weather-resistant gunmetal finish and comes with an easy-to-assemble four-piece pole. With its Twist & Pour™ technology, you simply twist the top to expose the fill hole, pour in your torch fuel and then twist to close, providing quicker refills and less mess. It also comes with an attached magnetic metal snuffer to help extinguish flames and cover the wick when not in use. Each torch stands 66 inches tall. For proven mosquito repellency*, use with TIKI® Brand BiteFighter® Torch Fuel, and enjoy up to 5 hours of burn time with each 16-ounce fill. ok torch, looks nice though
the torches looks great, the complaint that i have is that the snuffer lid blew off in a storm and tiki doesnt offer replacements, at least that what i was told. theres no reason not to offer replacements, now i constantly have water getting into them. took a good review and make it a negative one for me.

Defective poles
I bought two of these torches. The poles for both of the torches are defective. One piece will not fit tightly/securely into the other piece. When I called the company was told they could send replacement poles. What?!?!? No customer service.

I love it!
I've had my torch for a few weeks but due to all the Florida rain we get I haven't been able to use it until last night. As you can imagine with all this rain we get lots of mosquitoes but I didn't notice any around me when I used the torch. I also love how sturdy it is and the way the glow from the flame it lit up my yard. Now I want to buy a few more

Elegant torches
I love this elegant Tiki Island King Large Flame Torch. It is very easy to assemble and also easy to fill with the Tiki-oil.
The oil reservoir holds a large amount of oil, so you can enjoy many hours of a tiki fire witout having to refill it so often.
The torch has a really big flame when it's lit and stays lit when the wind kicks up. The large wick flame is great for keeping all
the bugs away and it lights up the deck area. There is a magnetic cap that fits on the top to put the torch out when your done using it.
I recommend this product.

Beautiful modern torch
We love to entertain and grill out in the back yard often. Our experience would not be complete without torches. Tiki island king large flame torch is the king of torches, I really enjoy having the long lasting effects for our outdoor entertaining. I like how it is really well made with an all brushed metal look. The poll is long enough to secure in the ground or in a poll holder and still be tall enough to look very attractive. Tiki brand fuel is the best as well, i like that is low odor and helps repel the night critters too. I would like these to come in pairs with small weighted base to make it have even more wow factor.

A great flame torch !!!!

Awesome large torch with long lasting flame
I love this Tiki torch. It is large enough that it covers our whole outdoor dining area and keeps mosquitoes at bay. It holds a lot of fuel so no frequent refills. It had the attached snuffer and is heavy duty and well made. I need another one of these for our patio area. 5 stars

Nicely made!
This torch is beautiful and sturdy . Very nicely made and easy on the eyes. I only have 1 and unfortunately that just isnt enough for the amount of mosquitoes in my yard. We have a marsh area behind our yard and it is a breeding ground for them which means an infestation of epic proportions in my yard. It did make a slight difference but not enough to make my yard acceptable to be out in.That being said i know it isn't going to get rid of all mosquitoes and i also know not most people have a mosquito issue to the magnitude we do - so considering I'd definitely say this DOES help. In addition to the lowered # of mosquitoes in the area the torch was in The flame stayed going strong even on the windiest nights which was impressive . I intend on getting at least 4 more to place around my yard after the pest control workers come and spray to maintain a lower mosquito rate. The fuel (we got the mosquito repellent tiki brand fuel) lasts a long time. I've lit the torch every day this week and have yet to need to refill it. Definitely a good product to have

Perfect for outdoor BBQ
This is my first Tiki torch and I am very happy with it! Easy to assemble. Simply screw the poles together and then screw on the torch part. Easy to fill. Twist the torch and you can add the fuel to the opening. It holds plenty of fuel so no need in refilling over and over. Once light the flame is large and bright. So pretty at night! Use the citronella scented fuel and it helps keep the insects away. Simple to put out the flame when your finished by using the attached snuffer. Which I love because I am always losing things and with it attached it will never get lost. It has held up well with storms and winds as well. But then again, if a really bad storm was to come thru I think I would take it down just as a precaution. It really is relaxing to sit outside at dusk with this lit. I really am happy with mine and plan to get more!

Let There Be Light!
The Island King Large Flame Torch added the right amount of ambience to my small patio. The flame was a bit scary at first but that feel didn't last long. The flame on the otherhand lasted our entire evening outdoors during a breezy day.
Set up was easy- easy to pour- so I'm a happy Tiki Torch owner!

I didn't know what to expect when we bought these. But after the first light, we're believers! We'll be buying more of these. They hold up great in the wind and the flame is HUGE (for a Tiki torch). Great product!

Great flame and nice style - have one concern
I definitely like the style and the flame size. I have bought Tiki-brand wooden torches over the years and though they are inexpensive, they need to be replaced fairly regularly. In reading up on the Island King, some have complained about rust issues. I am hoping that it won't be a problem in our dry climate. I have noticed paint around the interior of edge of the torch bubbling off which may get rusty but not so concerned about that part if that's where rust happens.

some problems
I bought 5 of these last year because I wanted something easy to fill, that looked good and that would last. After one year, I can say that two out of three are true. They have started to rust. I bought two of the stainless steel today. They're the same style except the top torch part is stainless. I hope they last for more than one year.

Easy to use - Once I figured out the trick.
So I bought six of these to ring my pool area as I had been looking for torches that would be easier to use and refill than the traditional torch. These went together very easily and the fill-up procedure is much less messy than the smaller torches. They work great; the flame is huge and they lasted longer than I thought they would - I got about three full nights out of a fill up. My only issue was when I went to refill the torches it was difficult to turn the top to get the opening lined up - the heat seemed to make the top stick. It took a few minutes but I figured out if you press on the oval hole a bit with your thumb the two pieces will pop apart and the top turns freely. Other than that I love how these look at night. I am interested to see how they hold up over time but so far they've been great.

Looks great - Love it more than other torches
They are beautiful! I absolutely love how they look. They assembled very easily. Filled very easily. I love that the top is a little magnetic so that it stays on better - a great improvement over other torches I have used. I also like that after burning for a while it did not get all sooty! I wish it had something a little sharper on the end for sticking it into the ground but I highly recommend. They will look great in any backyard!!

Hello, I love my tiki torch but hate the fact there is no point at the end to stick the pole into the dirt and they are always leaning. Everytime my gardeners mow the lawn, I have a problem. 2 of my sticks are extremely damaged. Any suggestions?

Are there instructions for changing the wick and how often the wick needs to be replaced?
Hi, Sean - Thanks for your question! We recommend replacing the wick when it isn't long enough to reach the fuel reservoir. Simply pull the old one out and push the new one through the hole with an inch of wick exposed about the flame guard. Then light, and enjoy your torch! We hope this helps.

torches seem to smoke a lot. can the wick be adjusted to correct this
Hi, Garry - thanks for your question. When our torches are used with TIKI Brand BiteFighter or Citronella Scented fuels and they are lit, they will emit some smoke. For dramatically less smoke, we recommend using our Clean Burn torch fuel that significantly reduces smoke. Also, please ensure your wick and torch is set up according to our best practices and instructions. When filling your Island King torch, remove wickholder assembly from fuel reservoir. Fill reservoir 2/3 full. Attach wickholder assembly to fuel reservoir. Do not overtighten. Allow wick to become completely saturated with torch fuel before lighting, which takes approximately 5 minutes. Do not set wick height higher than ¾” above the top of the flame guard.
