Good torch with reservations.
Good torches with one issue. Quality is definitely NOT rock solid and some torches are more competently assembled than other. We are near the beach and the damp air has caused to many of the torches to just unravel at the top. If you intend to use your torches with the cast iron base the shape of the bottom of the bamboo pole is not your friend.

Don’t expect it to last too long if kept outside. Mine came missing the chain that keeps the cap attached to the torch.

Ordered 2 four packs. Most came with split shafts, or after having for a couple weeks are already split. Not sure they’d make it through a full summer. Cheaper than the metal pole ones, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Tiki Polynesian torches
They do fade in the sun fairly quickly but are still darker than the other tiki torch colors I’ve seen. The Tiki logo band at the top also came off quite quickly. The glue came undone but they’re still usable.

What is the outside diameter of the Polynesian post? I want to install permanent bases in the ground and want to slip the poles in and out easily
Hi Dave- Thanks for the question! Because we use natural bamboo, there can be a range in diameter sizing. Most of our bamboo torches come with a diameter of about 3/4 inch, but for the type of installation you're talking about, we'd recommend getting the torches before making the bases. Am I able to leave these outside through the winter?

I bought six Polynesian tiki tourches....the directions refer to snuffers caps I have none... Are these sold separately or missing from my order?....
Hi, there - thanks for your note! Often times in our Polynesian bamboo torches, the snuffer caps are located inside the torch head, beneath the torch canister. If you take out the torch canister, the snuffer caps should be located in the head.
