Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fun, creative and perfect for anything I was so excited to get my hands on tiki torches for the backyard for my kids. They have their playground and all the spring and summer fun stuff back there and we are in a heavily wooded area which means more shade and darker and a lot more bugs. So now we can light the torches for extra light and to keep away all the bugs and mosquitos with the mosquito repellent torch fuel. The torches are a nicely made bamboo set of 4 and are cut at an angle at the bottom to make inserting into the ground much easier. They are about 5 feet tall and very sturdy with metal caps that cover the wick when not in use. These will be gorgeous for any reason and occasion and just fun and pretty to look at all the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect addition to my backyard We live on an Army base therefore live in government housing and our backyard is on the small side. We like to entertain during the nice weather so I was looking for a way to decorate my yard yet be affordable. Adding the tiki torches was the perfect way to frame off our cozy little hang out area. The gun metal and bamboo are fun and stylish looking. The flames are large which adds a ton of light to the area and the smoke that comes out keeps these giant Georgia bugs away. We are excited to use these all summer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality less than expected Very nice looking bamboo torch but the quality was less than what I would expect from a Tikitorch brand product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect to keep the bugs away! This was so easy to set up. We used them for a bonfire in the marshy south of Georgia where the gnats are HORRIBLE. I heard many remarks about there being no issues with bugs! This is HUGE around here! We kept them burning for over 5 hours and they never ran out of fuel. This is definitely a product worth buying if you struggle with the awful bugs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gives my yard a whole new look! I decided I want to have a walk way up to my porch and have the walk way be lit up with tiki torches and these work great. They look amazing and are so easy to place in the ground and fill with fuel as needed. They have transformed the feeling and look of my yard. They burn for hours and are great to use as a light source for parties.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome tiki torches! So, we had some warm days, up in the 70s, and decided to sit outside and light the TIKI torches. It gave off the perfect amount of light and not one mosquito bothered us. And yes they are out! They look great too! I highly recommend buying TIKI flamekeepers torches! Only negative thing is that I just now got to experience them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome quality I love these tiki torches. Way better quality than the ones I purchased before. By the feel of these, you can tell these will hold up better than the others. These are lightweight and easy to place where you want them. Easy to fill up with the torch gas. Is long lasting and makes my poolside much nicer.

Questions & Answers

Do you need to purchase stakes with these torches or do they come with them?

Asked by: chris87
Hi Chris87- Thanks for your question! Each Royal Polynesian bamboo torch comes with a tapered end (like a torch stake) that helps to make installation easy. For hard ground, we recommend using a TIKI Brand metal torch stake or torch stand. We hope this helps! – TIKI Brand

What is the outside diameter of the Polynesian post? I want to install permanent bases in the ground and want to slip the poles in and out easily

Asked by: Dave Doerflinger
Hi Dave- Thanks for the question! Because we use natural bamboo, there can be a range in diameter sizing. Most of our bamboo torches come with a diameter of about 3/4 inch, but for the type of installation you're talking about, we'd recommend getting the torches before making the bases. That way you can create the bases around each unique bamboo torch. Hope this helps! - TIKI Brand

Am I able to leave these outside through the winter?

Asked by: Jjjay
Hi there! We would recommend you put your torches inside a garage or shed for the winter to keep them in good shape for next season (which hopefully comes quickly!). Thank you for your question.

How many lumens does a basic bamboo tiki torch put out?

Asked by: TerryP
Hi, Terry - Unfortunately, we do not measure our torch light in lumens due to the number of variables and torch types. Thanks for being a valued TIKI Brand consumer.

I bought six Polynesian tiki tourches....the directions refer to snuffers caps I have none... Are these sold separately or missing from my order?....

Asked by: Kellysue
Hi, there - thanks for your note! Often times in our Polynesian bamboo torches, the snuffer caps are located inside the torch head, beneath the torch canister. If you take out the torch canister, the snuffer caps should be located in the head. If you cannot find them, or if there's anything else we can do to help you create paradise in your backyard, please don't hesitate to give us a call at 1-888-473-1088. Thanks!
