Nice & sturdy but rusted quickly
I bought this tiki torch on their site as it looked very nice & liked the fact it had a thicker sturdier pole. Received it in mail & it sure did look sharp, sturdy pole, nice design, no-refill container (just fill the reservoir). I was happy with my purchase. I received these in the middle of summer & had them out by my fire pit. They've only been rained on a few times this dry summer & I planned on taking them down in the winter. A few months in they started to rust terribly (see image). It must be a surface design flaw as you'll see in the pic that with only a few rain days, it has already rusted badly. I had to take steel wool to them & paint them with same color rustoleum paint & sealer to not only cover up the rust pits but protect it from future rusting. I inquired Tiki about this & they stated that they should be taken down when it rains or snows (the elements). So I responded that they "market" these torches "for" outside use and that their products should stand up to the elements. Again, they only could answer with to take them down. But, as to be a good faith, they gave me 2 replacements for my trouble. I of course thanked them but said these too will rust & that I need some kind of protectant on them. My point was that there's obviously a design flaw whether I pay for them or get them for free from them. So yes, these are really nice to have & look better than any torch I've ever seen but, they will most def rust. One could either do as they say & take them down anytime precipitation is occurring, or at the minimum apply a clear coat of Rustoleum to protect it as soon as one buys them.

Beautiful torch
This torch is very beautiful and elegant and it looks great in my yard. It was fairly simple to put into the ground and stayed put very well. It is nice and sturdy and the flame burns for a long time. The torch kept the bugs away well and the fluid lasts a long time.this torch brings beauty and elegance to any backyard setting, whether a fire pit or patio.

Excellent!
These torches are the best. Easy assembly out of the box and set in place on the patio in less than 5 minutes. Great looking and is keeping mosquitos and bugs away from our patio table. The brass finish is very attractive and I like these so much better than the other ones out there. Getting more for sure as they make the summer lounging area look and function better!

Great metal torch
I absolutely love this metal torch. I was very to easy to assemble and seems durable and made with outstanding quality. We bought four torches and they have added a very nice touch of elegance to the deck.

Beautiful torch!
I have had this torch for a couple of weeks now, and I use it with the bug fighter torch fluid. The torch is extremely durable and well made, and I love that the cap is attached. I let the fluid absorb into the wick for about 15 minutes before lighting it, and I burn it for a couple of hours at a time. It provides a nice soothing light with no smoke, and it helps keep bugs away! I still get a few mosquitoes, but not nearly as many as it would be without the torch.
