Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as described - I'm now in love with it! Item works as described! Using on my back patio in So Cal, where we've had an excessive amount of mosquitos this season and it actually works! Purchased this along with a mixed-material-table-torch 3 pack; for an entire evening with a relativity large flame (which protected the entire sitting area) only half of one torch canister was exhausted. No issue with excessive smoke/scent or mosquito bites for that matter. I bought this in addition to more pail candles (which I had been using - other brand) and I think I'm forever sold on this - and I love the table torches themselves. I'll probably only purchase the candles when I have larger gatherings (eventually), but I'm sold on this torch fuel & table torches!! Great price when buying directly from their site too - cheaper than other sites like Amazon... and it was free shipping!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks nice but some rust fast. These look nice but also started to rust on certain spots (chain especially) after just one night in the rain. I wasn't intending to keep them out regularly (I have some other permanent mounted in a pole, these went in the portable bases) but it's still surprising and disappointing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wonderful Appeal The Island King Lanai Large Flame Torch looks and burns great. My only complaint is that the Island King Lanai Large Flame Torches began to rust within a month, due to heavy amounts of rain. The Island King Lanai Large Flame Torches give my fire pit a wonderful curb appeal.

Questions & Answers

What radius does the tiki torch bite fighter cover?

Asked by: JLane
Thank you for reaching out! TIKI Brand BiteFighter torch fuel provides proven mosquito repellency with most TIKI Brand torches and table torches. However, there are factors that affect repellency such as temperatures, wind, and mosquito density. We typically recommend spacing your torches 4’- 6’ feet apart for the best results. - TIKI Brand

Can these be adjusted to work with the deck clamps? Looking for a shorter tiki torch to be used with the clamps I would like to purchase.

Asked by: knrobertson4
Thank you for reaching out! Yes, the Island King can be used with the TIKI Brand deck clamps. Each deck clamp works with most decks and railings up to 1 3/4 inches thick, and the bracket may be adjusted to fit either horizontal deck rails or vertical posts and banisters. Fits torch poles with diameters of 3/4 inch to 1 1/4 inches, which the Island King Torch has a 3/4 inch pole. Please remember to read all warnings and instructions prior to use. How do you replace wick

Asked by: Jman
Thank you for the question! To replace the wick in the Island King torch, remove the old wick by pulling it out of the torch head from the top. Then, insert the new wick into the top of the torch head by finessing it snugly through the hole. Make sure that the wick touches the bottom of the torch head and trim to 3/4" of exposure before lighting. We hope this helps! - TIKI Brand

Since smoke from the grill likely means it's separated from the rest of the party, framing the backyard party area with TIKI® Torches can form an inclusive border to help the grill-tender remain part of the festivities.
