Nice to use, but unlikely to last long
Easy to build and use, nice looking, but long-lasting? Doesn't seem so. I've had this outdoors for about 2 months and it's dealt with some late-season snow and a little bit of rain, and it's already rusting in several places.
The lid is shaped in a way that lets water get in with the rocks, but it won't dry out unless you remove the lid, and that area is rusting. The screws attached to the foot pads in the middle of the side pieces do not appear to be rust proof, and are rusting. The internal weld points are also rusting.
If not for these rusty places, it'd probably be a long lasting product. Most of the metal is coated and seems like it'll hold up fine to weather. It's just unfortunate that a few small places are going to ruin it early, because everything else is very nice.

The perfect fire pit!
This propane fire pit is absolutely perfect! It has been a wonderful addition to my backyard getaway. My husband and I had no problem with assembly. The directions were easy to follow. The fire pit completely conceals the propane tank, so all you see is the beauty of the fire pit. It has push button ignition that is easy to use. There are accessories sold separately for this fire pit. I have the tabletop and it makes the fire pit multipurpose. It is included in my photos.

Easy to install
The Customizable Propane Gas Fire Pit came well packed. The propane gas cylinder has to be purchased and we were easily able to get one in stores. Assembly of the fire pit was easy if you follow the instructions.definitely needs some muscle power considering its weight.

Tiki Brand Propane Fire Table Base
This Tiki Brand Propane Fire Table Base is easy to use, durable, made to last through weathering, and easy to set up. It has a built in automatic safety shut off switch. With its adjustable flame ready to use at the push of a button, it makes this propane fire table base easy to use at the push of a button. With up to 4 ft of heat radius, we were able to use it during our last little snow day. It also came with these adorable lava rocks OKC’s that we added to the table top later for decoration.

A good backyard decor
Despite this product being large in the box, it's a lot more forgiving in size without being in the way. To put it together was very simple it's just snap and go. Hooking up the propane tank took no time at all it's just a simple connection and like igniting anything, couple of clicks and boom you got a nice little fire going on

Beautiful and convenient fire pit
I have to Tiki Customizable Propane Fire Pit for my back yard and my family loves it. We previously had a wood burning fire pit and love the convenience of the propane. We've had so many more fire pit nights since getting this. My husband put it together while I ran to buy the propane tank and it was up and running very quickly. We love the safety features and ease of use.
Plus, there is so much less smoke than with our old wood burning fire pit. The black matte surface is sleek and high end. We are going to add on the table top. We love this fire pit so much and would highly recommend it.

Amazing!
I love the Tiki brand customizable propane fire pit! It is so nice to just be able to turn it on without needing wood. It was easy to assemble and looks really great on our patio. It has a convenient slide out tray to keep the propane tank on. The door is a little hard to get back on to close up the propane tank, but it isn't anything that makes this a deal breaker. I can't wait to purchase add ons to make this even more fantastic!

What material is the black base made of? Wondering if will hold up in salt air environment? Does it produce fair amt of warmth when sitting around it?
Thank you for the question! The exterior panels are of powder-coated steel. The components of the combustion assembly are made of stainless steel. The Propane Fire Pit should offer similar performance to other outdoor products when exposed to a salt air environment. The propane base is rated at 40,000 BTU. Does it get hot at the base? Can it be placed on a wood deck?
Thank you for your question! The Propane Fire Pit may be used on a Patio Deck as long as there is a 4-ft of clearance on all sides of the unit and 5- ft of clearance from the top. Do not use near any combustible materials. The Propane Fire Pit must be placed on a hard, level, non-combustible surface. We hope this helps! -TIKI Brand

Does this come with a cover?
