Very Little Heat but Definitely 100% Smokeless
Returning 25 in smokeless patio fire pit. Amazed that it truly is smokeless and you can’t even smell the smoke. Absolutely excellent from that standpoint; however, when it comes to heat, not good at all, even with a ton of wood and perfect hot coals. Fine for 50+ degree weather but otherwise, you have to be inches from it to stay warm. You can compare the heat to one of those propane table heaters. Get your hands warm but you’re freezing everywhere else. Been sitting here with a blanket on my lap and freezing cold feet once it hit probably 45 degrees out. Going to go back to the chiminea which definitely has smoke but is somewhat redirected and gives a lot of good heat. If you regularly have fires and live where the climate gets below 45 (which is very mild cold), I wouldn’t recommend.

Much Better than expected
I used to have a cheap fire pit from a big box store. It was difficult to start (and maintain) a fire and the smoke went everywhere. My children bought me a Tiki fire pit. I cannot overstate how wonderful it has been. It is easy to start the fire, which roars for hours and completely burns the wood. What little smoke there is goes straight up and does not bother the people sitting around the fire pit. I enjoy the fellowship with my guests around a hearty fire, rather than frequently getting up to restart a dying flame, or to move to get out of the way of the smoke. The Tiki fire pit is worth the extra money for the excellent quality.

Just received our patio smokeless fire pit and had some issues pulling the tray out as it appeared jammed under the top lip. The surround is bowed and the ring around the basin is permanently smashed to one side and off center. Separately after reading Tiki’s replies to issues it appears the cone is only for use with the pellet bags. At ~$9 a bag. This fire pit burns at a rate greater than minimum wage… if the fire pit is in fact not designed to be used with logs I would like a refund. Bought through your Amazon store.

Very pleased with our purchase for a newly poured patio. Compared to another very popular brand and went with Tiki for several reasons, appearance, ease of use, legs vs flat surface directly on patio as well as nice selection of supplies and accessories all at a much lower cost. Good quality product!

Loved it until…
Got my fire pit last year and have loved it until I used the pellets for the first time a week ago. As I do when using logs, when the flames died down I covered the fire pit with my steel snuff lid. The next day, the paint around the edge of the fire pit had come off. My guess is that the pellets remained very hot even after the flames died down and essentially melted the paint off. This never happened after using logs the past 2 summers. Tiki really needs to warn against this. So much for a good looking fire pit.

Warping already
Smokeless when using pellets. Pretty smoky when using logs. Used this fire pot for 3 years now, but only about 4-5 fires per year. The last fire caused a weld to pop and caused the base pan to warp. I'm sure it will only get worse with the next fire until it's unusable. I was hoping for better quality.

Great fire pit
This is a great fire pit. It is not only beautiful and elegant, but also very easy to use. I think it is indeed “smokeless”. No white smoke bothering your eyes at all! We used it once so far, on our concrete patio and it was so much fun. Kids loved roasting s’mores and we enjoyed sausages. Processed wood pieces that came complimentary with the firepit were easy to use. We’d recommend this product 100% to anyone who searches for a good looking and well functioning fire pit.

Reunion smokeless fire pit
The reunion smokeless fire pit was exactly as advertised. Beautifully and durably constructed, and highly efficient at keeping smoke suppressed. My wife is VERY picky about her hair smelling like smoke and breathing in smoke when sitting by a fire, however this is a total game changer for her. The heat deflector and cage is a nice addition by helping push heat down to our feet. You’re not going to regret this fire pit.

A very well made and designed product
I saw this online and thought it looked so much nicer than the other brands that look like a turkey fryer (big silver can). I was worried though because I never saw it in person. I looked up the reviews and they all seemed very good so I bought it along with all the accessories (heat deflector/top screen & poker/tabletop for when not in use). It works very well and makes a nice fire. It is smoke-free once the wood gets burning good and depending on the type of wood you are burning. It's very easy to clean. The next day I go out and take an empty coffee can and scoop the ashes from the bottom tray into it. Then i take the bottom ash pan out and go dump them. Takes no more than a few minutes. It is expensive but also very high quality. I like how it looks and how it functions so to me it is worth it.

Would not recommend
Extremely disappointed/i have had this fire pit for about 2 years and the bottom of the pit which holds wood and pellets has rusted and fallen through to the ash pan even though it is always covered and put inside during bad winter months.I bought this because it is made in America and I try to support American workers. Poor example of craftsmanship-totally unusable now

So glad we purchased it

Can’t Put it Together and No Customer Service
Haven’t even gotten to use it yet but giving 3 stars because the screws I received are not NEARLY long enough to secure the legs to the fire pit and under the “customer service” tab on this website there’s literally NO WAY OF CONTACTING CUSTOMER SERVICE. What a joke.

Best Patio Investment in Years!
We were looking to replace our propane fire table with something that had more character and more heat. This fir the bill perfectly. Beautifully built and more attractive than the competitors. Easy to light and burns great. Very little smoke when its up to temp. The flexibility to run wood or pellets is great. And it throws heat, even without the heat deflector in place. The heat deflector was a nice add on to expand the radius and push heat down towards your legs. Tremendous value in this unit!

This made my patio 1000X better! It's perfect because it's not big and bulky, but it's still the perfect size to give off PLENTY of warmth. It's so easy to use, and it's my favorite fire pit I've ever had to date. There's no sitting forever trying to get the fire to stay burning, no smelly back smoke, it's just quick, easy, and amazing! Also, don't be fooled by its convenient size, it's clear there was no quality spared in that part of the development, because when we lit the fire pit it truly was giving off flames just like the picture in the advertisement!

We love the fire pit. The only think that we don’t like much is that the bags burn to fast. And as you know the bags aren’t cheap, so either lower the price for the bag or make a more efficient pellets bag.

Do you have a surround system to keep children and animals away? I'm afraid my toddler may touch the outside of the fire pit and burn himself.

Flames may reach a height of 3 feet above the top of the Fire Pit. Further, the Fire Pit should not be used under a patio roof, any low-hanging branches, trellises, or overhangs of any kind, including covered porches. Reunion fire pit is about a month old and even the slightest bit of rain the cover collects water and sinks in. Steady and heavy rain, and I get a gallon or more in there. I’ve tightened the bottom as much as I can, solutions?

Trying to figure out if the Tiki fire pit is legal in my county. Iillegal outdoor fires include all fires burning outdoors with the exception of fires used to cook food in approved and/or recognized grills or stoves. Does it count as a stove or grill?

I am a little confused by the dome. Is it supposed to be used all the time on the patio fire pit or is it dependent on using the pellet pack vs. natural wood. And if so is it concave or convex?

The cone is what helps the Wood Pack ignite quickly, burn evenly, and deliver the predictable burn duration. You can place traditional firewood over the cone as well, up to 16 inches long so it fits within the fire pit bowl. Confused about how the center dome insert is placed in the fire pit. From the directions it seems like if you are using real wood you have it concave, but if you are using the wood packs you have it convex (rounded).

Are Tiki Wood Packs just pellets?

I love my new fire pit! My question is about the internal cone. It can be inserted concaved and convexed. What conditions/product (wood, pellets, etc.) determines which way you place it inside the pit?
Thanks for the question! The center dome insert is designed to create optimal burning conditions for the TIKI Brand Wood Pack. Burning the Wood Pack with the dome in the concave, ‘natural wood’ orientation will result in poor burn quality and burn duration. It can be flipped upside down when using logs and can be removed for cleaning. Flipping the dome creates more space for wood burning in the Reunion Fire Pit, but can be used both ways. When starting your Fire Pit, do not remove the internal dome feature to switch orientations. We hope this helps. -TIKI Brand
