Exceptional Retreat Fire-Poker and Screen
Very impressed by the Tiki brand Retreat screen and poker. They blend beautifully well with the Retreat fire pit. Was especially impressed by the weight of the poker and the length, which keeps our hands clear of the hot flames from the fire. Very well made products.

The Retreat Fire-Pit and Accessories are #1!!
We are so very happy with our retreat fire-pit and the screen, too, and poker are a worthwhile investment as well. We downsized and did a simple landscape in front and the retreat is perfect for us. You can find us on the porch with a fire almost every day and night now. Been a fan of Tiki products for years and this is a Grand Slam Product. We have built over 1500 hundred outdoor living areas in over 40 years and I always have Weber grills as a gift. If I was not retired, this would absolutely be my gift. Love it!

Screen material is poor quality.
I got patio screen and poker in May 2023. Used the pit maybe ten times between then and November. I cleaned out the pit after each use and covered it every time, storing the screen inside as it was designed. The last time I used the pit the top screen fell apart from it’s own weight when I lifted it out of the pit, the handle coming off in my hand. I also noticed at that time that the screen on the ring had begun to deteriorate. To their credit TIKI replaced the screen free of charge but I was disappointed that new one was made with the same quality screen. I asked customer service if it made sense to spray the screen with high temperature paint to prolong it’s life and they recommended against it. I anticipate having to go through this again before too long.

Ok product
Great idea, but the screen doesn't last long. After purchasing in July of 2022 we will probably have to replace next spring. We live in New York, so we really only use it from May-Sept (maybe Oct on a good year!) and the screen is already coming apart at the handle. We keep it covered when not in use and during the fall/winter we bring it indoors. I would buy again, but I don't need another poker (not to mention another $150)- why not sell the screen on its own? Feeling a little disappointed....

Screen breaks down over time
The screen was a good addition, but deteriorated much faster than anticipated. Got about 1 season out of it. The handle eventually came off and the wire mesh is disintegrating. Was hoping that I would have gotten more life out of it for what I paid. I used it about 1 or 2 times a week with a break in the middle of the winter due to weather.

Will the screen fit the fire pit if I purchased from Costco? I see that the Costco version is longer at 17” while the one you’re selling is 16”

How do I get a deflector with this for the patio fire pit? The only way I’ve discovered is from the build your fire pit option for a new fire pit. I ordered off Amazon, because the Black Friday discount was better and now I can’t get a deflector?

Does the screen help reduce embers flying out when using dried natural wood?
