Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, sturdy, and there's a bottle opener!! Must have add ons for the fire pit! The screen is lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, and the fire poker has an additional "cover" on the end that helps protect you hands from the soot. Also, the "covered" end of the fire poker has a bottle opener on it which is SO convenient because then you don't have to worry about going inside and digging around for one or keeping up with it while you're outside.

This screen and poker are high quality and they are a great accessory to have to keep hot embers from popping out of the fire and other unwanted items from getting in (like flying kids toys) :). The poker is very solidly constructed and works great for removing the hot screen and poking around at the blaze.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! The cover fits atop the fire pit exactly as it should and helps ease our mind when having fires without the wood packs where debris blowing up are a risk. It also provides comfort in knowing nothing will fall into the fire unintentionally as well. The poker works great allowing for easy manipulation of wood inside the pit and the bottle opener at the end is the perfect touch to complete a well made piece necessary for any outdoor fire. It really feels like tiki has thought of it all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Useful and affordable add on The screen and poker are a complete game changer. This heavy duty poker makes moving logs and creating airways so much easier. In the past, I always used a smaller stick and it was always a hassle to have it not break or catch on fire as I was moving logs around. The poker even has a handy bottle open on the back to make you’re time around the fire even more enjoyable.

Does the screen help reduce embers flying out when using dried natural wood?

Is the Fire Pit Patio screen necessary when using the pellet wood packs or is it more for using when you burn fire wood logs?
