The Island King® Torch features a unique design that results in a flame that’s five times larger than traditional torches. The uniquely designed torch bowl keeps the flame burning big and bright, even in the wind. It has a weather-resistant gunmetal finish and comes with an easy-to-assemble four-piece pole. With its Twist & Pour™ technology, you simply twist the top to expose the fill hole, pour in your torch fuel and then twist to close, providing quicker refills and less mess. It also comes with an attached magnetic metal snuffer to help extinguish flames and cover the wick when not in use. Each torch stands 66 inches tall. For proven mosquito repellency*, use with TIKI® Brand BiteFighter® Torch Fuel, and enjoy up to 10 hours of burn time with each 24-ounce fill. Low quality; rusty and burned
The idea is great, but they rust and get burn marks easily. After just a few uses, there are paint / finish burn marks and they're already starting to rust (coastal Southeast US weather.) I have plain stainless Tiki torches from 2009 that are kept outside year 'round and they still look brand new.

They look nice, but not durable
I love the look of these, but I am just gonna stick to the large Island King torch. After one use the metal looks scarred and the paint has bubbled up onto two of them. I’ve had the island king large torches for years and they are a lot more durable. Would not recommend the Lanai.

Poor Quality, they rust in a very short time.
I wish I read the reviews before I purchased. Who ever heard of a Tiki touch which you can't leave outside? That's absurd.

Crooked Island King Torch
3 of the 4 I purchased the basket that holds the torch is welded crooked on the base/pole and sits crooked, looks crooked. Wife is not happy.

Is this rust proof or do I need to pick it up everything it rains?

How does the burn time on the LANAI compare to the ISLAND KING FLAME TORCH? Does this hold more or less fill?

Hi, Can the ISLAND KING LANAI LARGE FLAME TORCHES be secured to a deck as opposed to being stuck in the ground?
Thank you for the question! Yes, the Island King Lanai Large Flame Torch can be used with the TIKI Brand deck clamps. Each deck clamp works with most decks and railings up to 1 3/4 inches thick, and the bracket may be adjusted to fit either horizontal deck rails or vertical posts and banisters. The deck clamps fit torch poles with diameters of 3/4 inch to 1 1/4 inches, which the Island King Lanai Large Flame Torch has a 3/4 inch pole. I have a torch that won’t stay lit. It is full of fuel and had plenty of time to prime. Why won’t the wick stay primed/soaked?

Can these be used without all the sections of the pole? and what is the length of each section? We have a need for shorter torches, but like the style of these. Also, do they have something that covers the wick when not in use to keep out the rain?

Each torch pole section is approximately 14.5" long and we recommend using at least 3 torch pole sections when securing your torch into the ground. How do you actually install new wicked . I see in an earlier question you say to use a 9in wick. What about the diameter and do you push it down in the hole
Thanks for the question! To replace the wick in the Island King Lanai torch, pull out the old wick from the top of the torch. Firmly push the new wick into the torch head from the top until you feel the wick hit the bottom of the torch. Trim the wick to 3/4 inch exposure. The 9" wick works with this torch and is the correct diameter. We hope this helps! - TIKI Brand
