Smells like dead animal and eats thru trex decking
I bought “ TIKI Brand 1218011 Clean Burn BiteFighter Liquid 64 Fl Ounce TIKI Torch Fuel, Clear” off of Amazon and I filled up my glass table top tiki torch “tiki brand” a little got on the outside, wiped it clean. Placed said glass table top tiki torch on my table which is made of Trex Decking. After three minutes…THREE not only did the fluid smell like dead animals, oh that smell. Still cannot get it out of my nose, but I lifted up my glass tiki torch container only to see that there is a PERMANENT INDENTED RING where the glass sat. This “oil” that I put in my tiki brand torch ruined TREX deck table top. It’s ruined. My $800 table is ruined. What are we going to do about this? I’m already returning this to Amazon. But my furniture! My outdoor furniture that I just bought a month ago. Ruined.

Keep those nasty bugs away
Well we have so many tiki torches in our yard we should have not one mosquito. I think overall this product keeps most of the mosquitoes at bay but we did get a few nasty ones making their way. Between torches, table torches, hanging lights I don't know how some are not at all effected by the repellent. Only other thing I wish is these bottles had some type of easy pour spout because I can not pour it without getting it all over the place. It's fine when it has time to dry but if I do it right before people are coming over and im lighting the torches, I've had a few catch on fire and needed to blow them out quickly.

TIKI® Brand Clean Burn™ BiteFighter® Torch Fuel - spilled in my car, on towels and clothes. I washed the clothes with other clothes and now everything smells like this fuel. How can i get the smell out of the clothes and towels?
Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience. We recommend hand washing the area with Dawn Dish Detergent to disperse the oil. Rinse. Dry on a clothesline outdoors. Then after drying completely check the spot again. Vinegar can also help neutralize the odor. We hope this helps!

How many sq ft does a single tiki torch light cover? Is it possible to build a "barrier" if I place them close enough? Are they effective immediately or should I light them a specific amount of time before I want to sit outside?

However, there are factors that affect repellency such as temperatures, wind, and mosquito density. I bought the regular citronella fuel the first time around for my torches and want to refill them with the clean burn. Do I need to clean the torches and replace wicks before refilling with the new fuel?

When changing the type of Fuel in your Torch, we recommend ensuring that the previous Torch Fuel is removed from the canister and disposed of according to your local regulations. Once emptied, new fuel can be added. You will not need to replace the wicks. Please allow the wick to saturate with the Torch Fuel for 10-15 minutes. Please note there may still be some remaining Torch Fuel in the wick causing some smoke at the beginning of the burn. We hope this helps. -TIKI Brand

Today, some extremely strong winds blew our tiki torch jar filled with about 12 oz of clean burn fluid into the pool. What do I need to do in order to make the pool safe for my family again? I’m very concerned about the fluid.

I recently purchased table top torches and the clean burn fuel. The flame is struggling to stay lit and is barely existent as it is. Are we doing something wrong? Is there anything we can do to get a better flame?
