Tiki Brand citronella candles
These are a gift so hard to rate. However, I saw how well they worked at a recent BBQ and was amazed how they kept the insects away. Not to mention they are very nice looking.

base is NOT real wood and doesn't even really look like real wood! Cheap resin material! Wish it was real wood, would look much nicer.

Better than described - effective & adds ambiance!
These are larger than expected and I LOVE them. Using on my back patio in So Cal where we've had an excessive amount of mosquitos this season - these work!! And they're nice looking/go well work patio decor. And since there are 3 I can spread them out. Only issue was the packing/shipping; 1 arrived cracked but they were quick to remedy the issue! Can't imagine not having these now - very effective and adds ambiance!

Recently bought 2 of these & they’re producing a lot of black smoke. I’ve had other tiki brand table torches over the years, haven’t had this problem before. Wicks are the right height, I use Tiki Bitefighter oil. Any other reasons for the smokiness?
If you're looking for a clean burning experience, we recommend using our TIKI® Brand BiteFighter Clean Burn torch fuel. It provides proven mosquito repellency and is plant-based which results in less soot and smoke. Additionally, please make sure the wick on your torch is exposed to the correct height. For tabletop torches, we recommend a 1/2" exposure. Likewise, you can trim your wick even shorter than recommended to create a smaller flame which will result in less soot and smoke. Do you have to keep pulling the wick up? What's the recommendation if you do?
Thank you for your question. We recommend ensuring that the torch has a wick exposure of ½ inch. The wick will not need to be adjusted after every use. The wick only needs to be replaced when it will no longer light. Because of how we design our wicks, the torch fuel is burned rather than the actual wick. When used according to our instructions a torch wick can last up to two seasons. We hope this helps. -TIKI Brand

Hi- Awesome question! Placement for maximum performance will depend on your environment. In most situations, place torches 2’–4’ apart.
