Let's reclaim the
meaning of face time.
Let's reclaim the meaning of face time.
It might just be us, but it seems a little ironic. All these tech devices were meant to connect us to the world like never before. And yet, somehow, we’ve ended up being less connected to each other along the way. It seems everywhere you look people are glued to their phones. At the dinner table. On dates. Even at birthday parties and holiday gatherings. Their phones see more of their faces than their families do.
Which led us to a thought. Maybe it’s time we gave our phones a rest and reclaimed a little of our day for each other. Maybe it’s time all this connecting to WIFI signals gets replaced with a stronger connection to those around us. And we think there’s no better way than an evening around the backyard table with a little mood lighting to get the conversation flowing.
We know taking a night to power down won’t change the world. But it might just make a few hours in our week a little better. Maybe change the depth of the conversations we have. And maybe, just maybe, even make the connections between us all a little stronger, a little closer.
In the right light, conversations are more illuminating
We believe the right lighting creates the perfect atmosphere for bringing people together. The soft, flickering glow of a beautiful flame puts everyone at ease. Suddenly you’re talking and learning things about each other you never realized.
So for us, creating the perfect flame was essential. We wanted to create a flame that not only glowed beautifully, but also gave off very little smoke or soot. That way, instead of your conversations being interrupted with coughs and sneezes, they’d only be filled with meaningful words and laughter.
The answer to this perfect flame wasn’t just in the wick. It was in the fuel, too. The result is a fuel and wick system we call Clean Burn. It burns far cleaner, providing a full, inviting orange glow. So when you gather around the flickering light on a perfect night outside, not only can you pull your chairs in a little closer, you can end the night feeling a little closer, too.
