Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing torch fuel that keeps the bugs away! I used to use the regular Tiki Flame torch fuel, but it was hard to enjoy the patio at night because of mosquitoes. Since trying the Tiki Flame Bitefighter torch fuel, we've noticed a significant decrease in the amount of bugs at night and there have been no more mosquito bites! But the best part is the flame still looks amazing and lasts for hours. You've got to try the Bitefighter torch fuel!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the label says "Paradise in your backyard" We entertain year round on our back deck a lot. So any help with mosquitoes is a necessity in 3 seasons of the year, especially here in North Carolina. We have used Tiki brand torch fuel for years as it never disappoints. This is the first time we have used 'BiteFighter' and it proved another wonderful product from Tiki. It was easy to use, has a light scent and kept almost all the bugs at bay. We use 4 torches to form a perimeter around the deck and this fuel is a great value for the amount of time it lasts. I included a little 'haha' pic of the North Carolina mosquitoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No fuss, no mess! I received the torch fuel just in time for a party. Usually I have to fill the canisters with fuel which always makes a mess plus my hands get dirty with the black residue. Not with the ready to light torch fuel. The hardest part was pulling up the sick which I did very carefully with a pair of scissors (pliers were not handy). Took me all of 20 seconds to do both canisters. I set them in the tiki holders, lit them up and whala- DONE. Easy as that. They burned all night and kept us from getting bitten up in the area I had them. I would definitely purchase them again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Value - Great Fire These Tiki Torches came in great packaging, were easy to put together, and put off great flames for over 6 hours. I bought 5 and put them around the pool area. I thought I was in Tahiti!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mosquito buster!! This product seems to work well. I do not sit outside at all during the evenings without having torches lit. We use quite a few of them, all around the area, while entertaining, to keep the mosquitos away. It give off a good amount of smoke to keep the pests away. This product seems to last a good length of time, depending on the size of the flame. I have used the regular torch fuel before and was very satisfied with that product also.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well Easy to use, I still spill a bit even with the improved opening but it's a huge difference from the old style. The formula smells like citronella and helps ward off unwanted bugs during BBQ season. Definitely helps. We still got the occasional mosquito that snuck through unfortunately (I'm thinking they flew under the height of the torches since our bites were on our legs). Overall a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Effective and pleasant My wife is a mosquito magnet so we often use torches in the summer but I am not a huge fan of citronella scent. I wanted to try Bitefighter fuel to see if the cedar would be more pleasant without losing repellency. There is still a bit of citronella scent but not as strong and the repellency is at least equal to the regular citronella fuel if not better. This will be our regular fuel from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fuel to refuel your Tiki Torches! I received this as a free sample in exchange for my honest opinion. I really like this Bitefighter fuel. It has a nice citrus-y scent that is not overpowering. It was December when I received this product and the mosquitoes aren't around much this time of year. I am curious to see how it works in the summer. Refueling is super easy with this and I am happy with the 64 ounce size.

How many tiki do u need for a 20x20 porch to keep mosquitoes away.

Asked by: Sheila
Hi Sheila: With so many factors - weather, wind, mosquito population - it's tough for us to give you a number, but we recommend placing our torches about 6 feet apart. Best of luck! - TIKI Brand

Hi, I have asthma and allergies. I'm also allergic to cedar trees. Is the cedar in the Bite Fighter going to cause a reaction for me? Has this been tested?

How many feet will one standard Tiki Torch filled with Bitefighter reach?

Asked by: Bobbie
I have a 12x12 (4) deck and a 12x24 (6) deck. I use the amount of torches listed in the () around the perimeter. If the wind is not bad those amounts of torches, with Bitefighter fuel, work great with keeping mosquitoes away. Hope that helps.

If used in just the in the ground tiki torch how far does it create of a barrier for bugs

Asked by: Tikiman001
Hi, there - thanks for your note! Due to many uncontrolled and differentiating factors, we cannot accurately state (as there's no way for us to know) the barrier radius our BiteFighter Torch Fuel provides, as it is different for every individual user. Our BiteFighter torch fuel does have proven mosquito repellency, and you may find it here: http://www.tikibrand.com/care/torch-fuel.html Thank you for being a valued TIKI Brand consumer and we hope you have a great rest of your summer!
