Rated 5 out of 5 by Tramway from Like the label says "Paradise in your backyard" We entertain year round on our back deck a lot. So any help with mosquitoes is a necessity in 3 seasons of the year, especially here in North Carolina. We have used Tiki brand torch fuel for years as it never disappoints. This is the first time we have used 'BiteFighter' and it proved another wonderful product from Tiki. It was easy to use, has a light scent and kept almost all the bugs at bay. We use 4 torches to form a perimeter around the deck and this fuel is a great value for the amount of time it lasts. I included a little 'haha' pic of the North Carolina mosquitoes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by raseaton from Mosquito buster!! This product seems to work well. I do not sit outside at all during the evenings without having torches lit. We use quite a few of them, all around the area, while entertaining, to keep the mosquitos away. It give off a good amount of smoke to keep the pests away. This product seems to last a good length of time, depending on the size of the flame. I have used the regular torch fuel before and was very satisfied with that product also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by geoffb from Effective and pleasant My wife is a mosquito magnet so we often use torches in the summer but I am not a huge fan of citronella scent. I wanted to try Bitefighter fuel to see if the cedar would be more pleasant without losing repellency. There is still a bit of citronella scent but not as strong and the repellency is at least equal to the regular citronella fuel if not better. This will be our regular fuel from now on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kelee82 from Amazing torch fuel that keeps the bugs away! I used to use the regular Tiki Flame torch fuel, but it was hard to enjoy the patio at night because of mosquitoes. Since trying the Tiki Flame Bitefighter torch fuel, we've noticed a significant decrease in the amount of bugs at night and there have been no more mosquito bites! But the best part is the flame still looks amazing and lasts for hours. You've got to try the Bitefighter torch fuel!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CToepfer from Love Love Love! Down here in New Orleans, mosquitos are of pre-historic size and quantity. Having red headed children, there seems to be some sort of magnetism and my kids are always getting bit up. We used this fuel in our backyard burners and noticed immediately a decrease in the amount of mosquitos. Will definitely be buying this again.

Can the bitefighter fuel be used in tabletop containers or only torches?
Hi there! The BiteFighter fuel can absolutely be used in our traditional tabletop torches but we recommend using the Clean Burn fuel with the tabletop vessels that have Roundwick burners (labeled as Clean Burn firepieces) to avoid the smoke and soot of petroleum based fuels. Enjoy!

How many feet will one standard Tiki Torch filled with Bitefighter reach?
I have a 12x12 (4) deck and a 12x24 (6) deck. I use the amount of torches listed in the () around the perimeter. If the wind is not bad those amounts of torches, with Bitefighter fuel, work great with keeping mosquitoes away. Hope that helps.

Hi, there - thanks for your note! Due to many uncontrolled and differentiating factors, we cannot accurately state (as there's no way for us to know) the barrier radius our BiteFighter Torch Fuel provides, as it is different for every individual user. Our BiteFighter torch fuel does have proven mosquito repellency, and you may find it here: http://www.tikibrand.com/care/torch-fuel.html Thank you for being a valued TIKI Brand consumer and we hope you have a great rest of your summer!
